Southaven Community Church Daycare:

Is fully licensed by the state of Mississippi. The daycare has never had anything but an “A” rating on its semi-annual inspections. A church daycare is able to teach the children about God, faith, and prayer. You will not hear of these in most childcare facilities. As a Christian center our educational purpose is two-fold:

1. Kindergarten preparation

2. Teach early childhood Bible stories.

From the age of six weeks to twelve years, there is something for every child at SCC. The day is filled with:

1. playtime

2. class time along with

3. two prepared meals

4. two snacks per day.

For school aged children, SCC runs vans to ten or more schools in Southaven, Horn Lake and Hernando. 

If total number of years of service means anything, and we think it does, SCC Daycare should be among the best in the area.

Having been in operation for over 15 years as a fully licensed and approved daycare, we believe we have an excellent staff. Over one-fourth of all the employees have been with SCC for over 10 years and two have been employed since its first year of operation in 2002. Most of the teachers at SCC are CPR and First Aid certified. 

It is our goal to provide the kind of care that a parent would give at home. We realize that in most homes both parents have to work outside the home. So we want children to grow up in an environment where they know they are loved and where they are taught good values.
